So for years and years dude is abducting women and holding them, filming them, etc.
And then at a certain point just stops going out again. So the house is considered vacant and is sold. Inexplicably someone makes it an airb&b in a neighborhood that has no other properties at all.
But periodically people rent it and then disappear? What happens to their cars and their stuff? It seemed like the guy was kind of bunkered down but what was being eaten to survive down there? His door had a bell that he could ring by string but you can assume that nobody was bringing him anything for a looooong time.
I know you aren’t supposed to think too hard I guess but that’s not a situation that would last for all that long.
