Hmm, interesting. HP used to manufacture all their inkjet printers here in town before eventually offshoring all that. Now...

...while this article is awful and provides no details, it looks like HP may be bringing a chip fab to town. They still have a huge campus that's now mostly a ghost town. They actually tore down a bunch of their buildings when the printing manufacturing left. Eventually the city convinced them to stop tearing down buildings and turn some of the office space into a office park and there's some businesses that rent out that space. HP still has some presence here (I suspect it has to do with inkjet printer *design*). If they moved to chip manufacturing, though, they'd need some MASSIVE square footage and LOTS of employees. That's really good news.
