Yes but several of the BOP writers said that they would have paid to Spam readers/participants.

I know that we had a ridiculously talented, likable group, but that still blows my mind. It's like monetizing the Algonquin Roundtable.
I tease bery and PFM about the fact that I suggested a way to monetize likes and other feedback using Reddit's Dogecoin in like 2014. It would have made everyone on ST millionaires.
I find it hilarious how we're often in the ballpark on these things, but it hasn't worked out.
