You never know, especially if they're introduced when they're puppies. I've known many and they're wonderful dogs that are a lot more playful and

athletic than their stoic looks will have people believe. They have a serious look but they're fun and playful dogs.
But I've not known many to be friendly with dogs and people they don't know. They don't often go over to other dogs during walks to sniff them or say hi. They don't often care to have strangers pet them. But as I say this I know every dog is different and some can be outgoing.
I hope everything goes very well and they have a very happy life together.
