I don't understand how The Mother was getting out at night when the basement door automatically locks you in.
I think the property managers are meant to just be bad at their jobs, like the cops. But that would kinda be dependent on her not actually getting out often, which would contradict what the homeless dude said...
How they're surviving in that basement is definitely a plot hole.
Her bursting in as soon as he said "she's never gotten in here before" was the most predictable thing ever.
It's not bad, but I didn't really find it to be the least bit scary.
