So... I'm choosing between Ko-Fi and Patreon for a contribution/patronage platform. Thoughts?

The Ko-Fi Gold plan lets me choose a different metaphor besides coffee, and it also allows monthly donations or monthly tiered memberships. For what I have in mind, I'd be leaning toward tiered memberships as a replacement for manually implementing subscription models & logic on the tiny developer-focused utilities I'm planning on building.

There's a third option, GitHub sponsorships, but A) that's Microsoft, and B) my idea for moving forward on this is broader than just coding -- nm
