Seems like it probably wouldn't boot if it were the motherboard and the processor causing the rattle.

It's running fine. There's just a rattle. I figured the fan was broken.

- He’s probably venting bits. The fan was running its cycles too hard and dislodged the logic boards. It’ll need to retraced. -- nm - Mop Nov 3, 12:32
