If graphics matter, the remake of FF7. If they don't, Final Fantasy X is phenomenal and comes with a ready-made sequel. -- nm

IV and VI were the classic 90s SNES games. VII looked pretty at the time on the PS1 but is very overrated. -- nm

I'd recommend Final Fantasy 12, Zodiac Edition but I wouldn't pay full price. It goes on sale regularly. -- nm
