It wouldn’t be like a catholic institution to mislead people.

fwiw I went to a private school where parents would often donate shit like that, or do it through their company as a write off.
Anyway, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was technically true that they don’t have much money, but because they subsidise other non-school related churchy things.
