I needed a new pair of boots so I ordered the French Foreign Legion boot from Palladium that I'd put up an article about a couple weeks ago.

I figured that with a realistic look at how much time I would spend out in the snow, I really would be wasting money getting Sorel Caribous even though I love them.
The boots arrived very quickly and Palladium emailed me a 10% off my next order coupon. I bought the boots in Caramel and decided if they were worth a cr@p, I'd get them in Olive Night on my next paycheck.
So I laced up the boots yesterday and went to work. The cold wind on the way to work bit through the canvas uppers somewhat but I'll just wear some merino wool socks with them. I worked a full shift at the library standing up, no sitting. At the end of the day the boots felt just as good then as they did in the morning. I will most definitely get a second pair.
