A woman I worked with at Penn State fell for this scam. She actually thought our CIO wanted her to buy thousands of dollars in gift cards
|
using her purchasing card.
Thankfully her daily limit was $2k so she got cut off after four cards.
I don't know how people like her get through the average day without getting kidnapped by elves.
