The DeSantis thing was Chapek trusting Geoff Morrell, the guy he just hired, to know what he was talking about. Not coincidentally, Morrell only lasted four months. That and the ScarJo thing are the only two decisions that weren't already underway with Iger.
Appreciate this for what it was. Iger just framed Chapek and set him up as the perfect patsy. It's art.
