one of the sad(der) things about listening to the news reports from that day is for about the first hour they still didn’t know enough to know how bad

the head shot really was. although even in the first flash bulletin from UPI, Clint Hill was quoted as saying “he’s dead” as soon as the limo pulled up to Parkland
If there had been the kind of coverage we had today, there would have been zero suspense
