I am choosing not to be an early adopter because I see red flags about the ownership and goals of the project, and I don't want to be trapped into the same mechanic of feeding the bottom line by proffering free or nearly-free content to the centralized site owner.
I fear it's a danger noodle in disguise. But if that changes, or that fear is disproven, then I might be interested in trying it out.
