In response to "Family "Once In A Lifetime" DisneyWorld trip booked (everything but flight). Hit me up with your suggestions:" by Name Withheld By Request

My tips, followed by my daily reports. -- (edited)

Genie+ is a must have to maximize your time in the parks. Learn how best to use it to your advantage.

Individual park suggestions based on our recent trip (excluding animal kingdom):

Hollywood studios: book Slinky Dog for your first Lightning Lane and rope drop Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Rise of the Resistance is a good bet for standby if the wait time is under 75 minutes. It doesn’t actually take that long once you account for the pre-ride elements. Otherwise you’ll have to pay for the individual Lightning Lane (not included with Genie+) if it’s a must ride. Fwiw, it was my favorite ride in all of the parks.

EPCOT: book Frozen Ever After as your first Lightning Lane, and rope drop Ratatouille, but keep in mind how far you have to walk from one side of the lagoon to the other. Note that there is no lightning lane available to meet Anna & Elsa, so you’ll have to wait for that (usually about 30-45 minutes). Use the virtual queue for Guardians: Cosmic Rewind, you’ll need to keep an eye on when your boarding group comes up, as it will change throughout the day, but should save you from having to pay for the individual lightning lane.

MK: individual lightning lane for seven dwarf’s mine train is definitely worth it, jungle cruise was probably the hardest to book through genie+ so prioritize it if it is a must ride, other than that you’re probably just going to have to make choices if you’re only doing one day there. It's all about deciding what you want to do and how to get from one place to another.
