They play smaller(ish) venues, so yes, you can likely hang out by the bus / tour van after.

Most small venues (<1000 or so) you can usually meet them at the merch after a set/show, but some places will kick you out. Just depends.
Larger bands, you probably need to hang by the band vehicle, but be prepared to wait. I waited almost 2 hours for Biffy Clyro in NYC after.
