Flanagan indicated he could have done more seasons but since The Haunting of Hill House, Flanagan’s been doing one different horror series every year. He could have done more Midnight Club, but he was already working on his next series for Netflix, The Fall of the House of Usher (which he’ll wrap up before moving the Amazon) so the likelihood that the Midnight Club was going to be an ongoing thing was low, regardless.
