My sense is I'm seeing fewer ads because I don't watch much broadcast so I have no good sense of release schedules. -- (edited)

Also the stuff I do see is still mostly poor quality. Episodic streaming is winning right now.
Responses:
I can also say that every time this past week I heard about Disney's "Strange World" doing poorly, I had never heard of this film.
