The music industry seems to have found ways to make experience matter -- far better than the movie industry anyway. Same with video games.
I'm worried about the future of local and indie music (which is another topic entirely), but what I can't understand -- and don't know enough about to figure out -- is why the movie industry seems plagued by this problem more than other sectors of the entertainment industry.
