"Last Saturday my car was towed from the Target parking garage that I work at for "being there too long"(I worked 230pm-1030pm). When I went outside my car was gone. After calling 911 and being on hold forever I finally found out it was towed. When I went to the towing company I told them that I was rightfully parked as i'm an employee and that I wanted my car back free of charge. After the hassle of proving to the tow company that I was an employee, I finally got my car back around 1am. The next day as I was driving, my car started making an awful sound every time I turned so today I took it to the dealership to be looked at and found out that the tow truck did $7,200 worth of damage to my car for incorrectly towing it (they used a hook and pull on my AWD car when you should use a flatbed). I told my AP on Sunday about the towing but they don't know the extent of the damage yet (will be letting them know today now that I have the rough estimate) Right now my car is deemed unsafe and illegal to drive until fixed so i'm stuck without a car. I'll be reaching out to the towing company to pay for damages but can't help but want some form of compensation from Target for all this bullshit that I now have to deal with."
