I'm going to upgrade my new laptop's ssd, but I can't find any examples or instructions of how to do it so I'm going in blind...

So I'm hoping it's obvious how to get it open and where it goes once it's open.

I'm also hoping it has a secondary memory area with Windows stored on it so it can be reinstalled on the new drive...

Responses:

Two hurdles. 1) Physical connections. SSDs are either SATA or PCIe NVMe. The first is similar to a regular HD connector, the second is more like a - oblique Dec 6, 11:35 7
