Two hurdles. 1) Physical connections. SSDs are either SATA or PCIe NVMe. The first is similar to a regular HD connector, the second is more like a

memory slot. As long as your laptop has the right kind and you bought the same kind, you're good here.

2) Transferring data. This can be tricky also. Basically you want to clone the drive but Windows can be persnickity about it. I believe I've used the EaseUS free ToDo Backup to do this in the past but it's been a while
