My main problem with the 787 is that is was designed to be 8-across seating and comfortable. The airline, of course, made them 9-across seating..

..and shrunk the aisles (and the seat width) to fit in the extra seat in each row. The same that they changed so many of the 777s from 9 across to 10 across.
There's isn't room on an A330 or (generally) an A350 to do that. So you don't get these super narrow seats on those planes.
