I feel like such a greedy piece of poop for feeling annoyed at getting a nice gift card from a very nice client.
But this time of year I rely on the money to help pay for the gifts. I also can't wait to get their tips because they tend to give them late and I'd be shopping on Christmas Eve.

I know I'm being a bit greedy but I've been doing this a long time and you get to have expectations of what tips you'll get for Christmas and it's almost always cash. And you also start to rely on it when you know it's coming.
