Boss came to me this week and said he wanted to retire our fiber optic network.

Before we were done, we’d talked ourselves into expanding fiber all over campus. The catch is that I have zero experience with fiber optics, but it’s apparently rather simple plug-and-play. Having plugged in a digital optical audio cable is the sum total of my resume at this point.
