it’s scary how many bad blood pressure devices are in use at medical facilities. -- (edited)

and homes, too. it’s the battery-operated ones especially, but the rechargeable hospitals use aren’t always reliable either.

for me, generally doesn’t matter, and I look to my home one to just be consistent; but for those who need particular readings before medicine is given and/or who are being given medication because of readings? eep.

like just now a wrist cuff showed 96 over something, arm cuff 144 over - I’m usually normal; so add and divide by 2? 😬
