The biggest different is that we have countless new shows now with only 10-12 episodes each when before we got 10 new shows with 30 episodes each. Smaller writers rooms? No back end? That’s just WGA dog whistles. So long as there streaming wars are ongoing, there’s work aplenty. Now, of course… it sure looks like the streaming wars are on the brink of ending in a bloody stalemate. Then we can cry about it. But don’t tell me that TV shows today suck. I won’t hear it.
