this is often my work travel. less frequently at the new place, but I just did 100 hours of travel for like 175 on site.

trip was required for regulatory reasons. probably could've done with less time on site, but the flights didn't allow it.
the worst was a week long (total) trip that included about 2.5 days on site.
quarantine rules also kind of made this insane. I never had to do it, but there were people at my former and current company who did 4 weeks quarantine for short trips.
