I listen to AM radio for the news but not in a car. I have a radio on 24/7 in my bathroom with the news on it.

I used to listen to AM for sports talk but I can't stand sports talk these days and barely ever turn it on. Also, most have moved to FM as well and maintain both AM and FM channels. Even the news channel I listen to recently added an FM channel.
