I wonder how different an urban lifestyle is today from 60 years ago. I totally get that rural living would've meant you perhaps were able to grow

your own food, etc. meaning that your "living expenses" were very small. Certainly our modern life has extra expenses (phone, internet, etc.) but I wonder how much that accounts for
