Hanukkah: we beat back invaders. Found a tiny supply of oil to light the lamp over the ark where we store sacred scrolls that requires use to keep...

Lighted...
However that one day's worth of oil managed to last 8 days till some more could be delivered. To celebrate we light a succession of birthday candles adding one more each day. And giving the kids presents so they don't feel left out as the Christian neighbors kids get stiff about the same time of year.
Oh and we eat a meal that made with 8 days worth of oil.
