Question for ST people in an IT field. How big of an issue is it if a staff members name in a computer system like SAP does not match e-mail?...

And by this I mean spelling. This is not where a staff name is Jonathon but they go by Jon. I am refering to if there first name was
[email protected]
but the SAP system has ABCED.ABCDE.
Just something that I have noticed at work recently.

I didn't even know SAP used email... -- nm

If the SAP system was also using that username as their email contact, I'd think it was a big deal -- nm

agreed. if it's referencing a record of truth somehow incorrectly, that's an issue. -- nm
