she had been participating in a clinical trial of a new medication and with a surgery under her belt - the mass in her neck has shrunk to the point of her doctor dropping her from Stage 4 back to stage 1.

She'll be doing radiology for the next couple weeks and will be having scans every month for a while. And barring something unforeseen, she is well on her way to beating this thing.

Soooo - fuck that contest - this is the best news of all. And seriously, again, thank you all so much for helping!!!
