Yes. But that puts the onus back on the person to click ‘view it anyway.’

Some people are suggesting Reddit is doing this in preparation of laws suggesting that social media posts cannot be blocked at all.
Others are going the ‘all engagement is good engagement for Reddit’ idea.
Reddit’s official line is that it’s to prevent abuse of the blocking feature. Which, I mean, uh, what? A limit certainly won’t do that.
It’s all pretty dumpster fire awful that makes some subreddits unsalvageable.
