I am not a botantist but what we call "nuts" are mostly not "nuts", apparently. I think you can be allergic to some and not all. -- nm

that's how I am. almonds, walnuts, and pecans are fine. peanuts, brazilnuts, and hazelnuts are not. other nuts are a mystery. -- nm

I'm ok with red/orange/yellow peppers, but not green peppers. I think the ripening changes the chemical that bothers me. -- nm
