The Arctic is estimated to contain as much as 25% of the world's undiscovered oil and gas, and global warming is opening up new drilling possibilities

(ran out of space; pretend that's in quotes.)

Am I right in thinking that, if there is indeed a link between the use of fossil fuels and the melting ice caps, drilling under the receded ice caps would be kinda funny? You know, in sort of a "dig up, stupid" way?
