Will, from B2, luggage is sent to the original destination then has to be returned (as needed) to the originating airport.

the expectation is that passengers are doing what they can to get to their destination.
so those who didn’t make flights can be standing right next to corralled baggage but can’t get theirs. it’s already a problem for diabetics and others who only could pack a limited amount of medication in carry-on bags.
(this is per a cnn report this morning talking to some southwest passengers.)
