Just an addendum to my below. The Recast appears to be supported through 2026 right now so it isn't a bad buy if you go in knowing it will eventually

It is cheap, does the basics, and interfaces decently with FireTV if you have one. It has it's issues and occasional glitches in scheduling but it has no ongoing costs
