We were dining at the Yachtsman. Around 6:40 pm the fire alarm alerted along with an announcement to evacuate the building. Cast members directed us to the other side of Stormalong Bay. As we were walking by Beaches and Cream we saw the fire. It appeared to be a standard grease fire with flames reaching about 2 feet high, but contained to the grill area of the kitchen.
Speaking to someone in the crowd, he said he saw the cook leaving the building looking panicked.
Around 7:10-7:20 PM we were allowed back in. As we passed Beaches, we overheard facilities staff reporting that the gas lines had been cut off and something (we don't know what) would need to be replaced.
