Depends on the rules. Currently, I believe it takes a majority of the ruling party but McCarthy gave away the house to lower it to 5 GOP to call -- (edited)

for a vote. It used to be 1 to call for a no confidence vote (Motion to Vacate) but Pelosi changed it after it took down Boehner.
Even if the vote is called, it takes a majority of the House to remove someone.
