Sad news. Our 10-year old 50" Panasonic plasma appears to be on the way out.

The dark areas have developed a blue-ish tint

And playing around with color temperature doesn't seem to solve the problem.

Wife is having surgery in 3 weeks and will be doing a lot of tv watching during recovery, so I have until then to get a replacement up and running.
