I'm kind of amazed that McCarthy hasn't started to lose some of his backers at this point. He's giving so much power to the crazies I can't believe

that the others can still stomach it. I get why McCarthy would. He doesn't really care as long as he gets the gavel. He wants it for his ego and resume. But the others . . . . To be subject to the whims of Gaetz and Boebert? I don't know how they can stomach it. All it would need is a handful to go to the dems with modest concessions. But I get that it means they set themselves up to be primaried if they do.
