there's enough in the new New York delegation from +Biden seats to cross over, if they would agree to the Dems' mild conditions

yeah you might get primaried but you're already in a seat that statistically is going to be hard to hold in two years and the upside with New York Republicans is probably a lot greater than the downside of having to be part of whatever majority a non-McCarthy deal gets you from the Freedom Caucus
