Do I stay in Vancouver and try to make it to the airport for an 11:15am flight, or stay at an airport hotel?

I know I would enjoy a day in Vancouver, but I'm not really a morning person any more. Google says I could get to the airport in ~22 minutes so leaving at 7:00-7:30 am could be doable?

I definitely like airport hotels for early hotels (also not a morning person) but 11:15 doesn't sound bad if you're gonna be less than 30 minutes away -- nm - ty97 Jan 5, 21:39 2

  - I'm looking at a 9:45am flight out of SNA in September so that will be another 6:30-7:00 departure. Cabs can do it in 15-20 minutes on a good day. - Meg Jan 5, 21:52
