pfm, I thought The Menu was a little disjointed. It was almost like two different movies spliced into one for me (spoilers)

One movie was the most savage and brilliant take down of foodie culture I have ever seen. Extra kudos go to the scene of the bread course that featured no bread.
The other movie was a run of the mill horror story. I may be not the best one to judge because I don't really like horror, but it was meh to me. It wasn't to the end with the really inspired s'mores scene that the two movies came together.
If every killing and act of violence was as creative as the s'mores scene, then I would have been ecstatic over this film.
