What I'm saying is the implementations as in Las Vegas aren't going to be a substitute for high speed rail. And are cheaper than subway lines

The actual "hyperloop" vacuum tube bullet thingee that was initially discussed would, if viable, be a high speed rail substitute. Not a good one, IMO.
