There has been talk of doing this but if Fields is as terrible as you say, who would take him.

Since he's Trubisky level, they should just release him.
Fields wasn't this GM's pick anyway. They have lots of picks and most space to buy FAs so I guess they can cross fingers on an unproven QB.
