But was still doing okay. Driving to work I noticed it was smoking a little a few miles from my mechanic so decided to go. Got off the highway and smoke went full throttle and that was it. Expensive lesson learned. If a MINI starts to go, dump it off. A rebuilt certified engine would be about 17k!
