Even if that's true (I highly doubt it is), that's still not the same as them staking a claim at Stranger Things or Critical Role profits.

Companies work out deals to use their IP in movies/tv shows which usually means getting paid royalties. Hasbro and Netflix have deals in place for combined merchandising.
Might those deals change? Sure. But to act like this OGL change will somehow mean that Hasbro is gonna demand profits from the show is silly.
