Not only has bird flu wiped out 10-15% of the egg production but many locals are reporting lagging egg laying and doubled cost of feed

Slower egg production is likely seasonal as chicken don't lay as many in the winter and small farmers don't typically heat their barns...factory farmers cram so many into tiny cage that they self heat
